Gt 5335D

The GT 5335D temperature transmitter has universal, configurable analogue inputs, both for resistance sensors (Pt100 etc.) and thermocouple and one analogue 4 ... 20mA current output with HART® version 5 protocol.

The transmitter performs measurements with high accuracy of one or two temperature sensors (thermocouples) or resistance sensors.

Technical characteristics

  • Temperature transmitter has been designed according to strict safety requirements and is therefore suitable for application in SIL installations.
  • Sensor error detection according to the guidelines in NAMUR NE89
  • The HART 5 protocol version enables easy and quick transmitter configuration and diagnostics

Application

  • Signal standardization from the sensor to a 4...20mA current signal
  • Linearized temperature measurement with Pt100...Pt1000, Ni100...Ni1000, or TC sensor.
  • Measurement of difference or average value from 2 resistance sensors or thermocouples
  • Conversion of linear resistance variation to a standard analog current signal, for instance from valves or Ohmic level sensors.
  • Conversion of the voltage signal [mV] to a standard 4...20mA current signal
