The temperature sensors in this series are most commonly used to measure the temperature inside products and to control the temperature during thermal processing.
The measuring tips of the sensors have different shapes, either flat, pointed (conical or angled tip) or extended. The cable coming out of the handle has either free ends or a special plug for connecting the sensor to the measuring device.
As standard, the sensors are equipped with a resistance thermometer, i.e. 1x Pt100 or 1x Pt1000 in 2-, 3- or 4-wire configuration. Double versions and versions with an additional sensor (e.g. Pt500) or a thermocouple are also available as options.
The handle is made of various materials such as Teflon, silicone, stainless steel or wood. The length and insulation material of the cable are selected according to the individual specifications and requirements.
When using sensors for control measurements, it is possible to supply the sensor and the measuring device with a calibration certificate.
