Metallurgy and heat treatment

Our temperature sensors can be used in basic metal heat treatment processes, but also in highly advanced processes, where the measurement of the correct temperature is essential and crucial for the final result (e. g. in steel mills or service hardening plants).
Depending on the application, the thermocouples may have metal or ceramic protective tubes and can be delivered with a calibration report from our accredited measuring laboratory.

Often applied temperature sensors in the Metallurgy

Heat treatment companies often use high quality vacuum furnaces with temperature sensors for process control. Guenther manufactures vacuum-tight thermocouples adapted to the furnace and its processes by design and function.
On request, the thermocouples can be equipped with a protected reference hole for the control thermocouple, so that the sensors can be calibrated during operation (without disassembly).

The thermocouples can be delivered with a calibration report from our accredited measuring laboratory.
