Cable resistance thermometers

resistance thermometers of this series are primarily used for temperature measurement in liquid and gaseous media. However, there is a broad palette of configuration and construction options that can be adapted to specific applications. Due to their construction, these thermometers may be used in temperature ranges between -200°C and +550°C.

Temperature probes of this series are made in various variants, and are structurally adapted to work in various conditions. Cable sensors are often used by machine and device manufacturers, including in ovens and in heating, ventilation and cooling devices. Many standard designs are available, but we regularly develop new ones according to customer specifications.

Due to the design and materials used to build the sensors, they can be divided into the following versions:

  • Push-in resistance thermometers
  • Surface resistance thermometers
  • Screw-in resistance thermometers
  • Resistance thermometers  with magnet holder
  • Other executions are possible, e.g. watertight, acid-resistant

The sensors are manufactured with various cables, usually available from the our stock, including PVC, Silicone, FEP, PFA or fiberglass insulation (for high temperatures). The cables can be terminated with various connectors, which facilitate the installation of the sensor, e.g. Molex, LEMO plugs, free ends or ferrules for screw terminals.

RTDs are most often made with Pt100 or Pt1000 sensors with characteristics in accordance with IEC EN 60751 in accuracy class A or B, optionally AA or 1/10 DIN B. Versions with Ni100, Ni1000 and NTC sensors are also available (according to individual arrangements).
